4. API Keys (User-Provided)

Users may provide their own third-party dictionary API keys. To maintain maximum privacy:

• API keys are stored only in your browser’s local storage.
• Learnword does not collect, transmit, log, or store your API keys.
• API requests made with your key are sent directly from your device to the third-party service.

You are responsible for managing your API key and complying with the policies of the corresponding provider.

5. Payments and Account Information

If you purchase Learnword Premium, payment details and account data are handled exclusively through third-party processors such as Lemon Squeezy or Stripe. Learnword does not store or have access to your payment information.

6. Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage data to understand how users interact with Learnword (e.g., feature popularity). This helps improve performance and reliability.

7. Data Storage

All data is stored locally in your browser’s storage unless you create a Pro account, in which case we securely store account details using third-party services like Stripe or Firebase.

8. Third-Party Services

Learnword uses third-party APIs (like DictionaryAPI, Merriam-Webster, and Wordnik). Each service has its own privacy policy, and we encourage users to review them.

9. Your Rights

You can delete your local Learnword data anytime by removing the extension or clearing Chrome storage. If you have a Pro account, contact us to delete stored account data.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of Learnword indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
